ELLIE PRESS was set up in 2013 by me… Emma and operates out of my home studio in Weston Turville, Buckinghamshire. My business was named after the little red Adana 8 X 5 which thumped card stock like a baby elephant and was dragged out to craft fairs and even into the local school to teach children about printing.

All of the printing today is carried out by Betsy, a foolscap folio Arab Platen (13 X 9 chase) that had been owned by a retired hobby printer and just needed a little TLC. She was restored by Logan Press to the working condition she is in today. The number 2921 stamped into Betsy indicates she was made circa 1895, a real piece of history! I have also added a new press to my collection called Gilda. She likes to makes things shiny and is used for hot-foiling stationery.

My passion for drawing means that I love to create bespoke artwork that really means something to my wedding clients from beautiful venue illustrations to elements that tie in to the couples overall theme. I also have a little Etsy shop where i channel my passions for cute adorable things like rabbits!
